Crowe has always been active in his community having taken part in many civic and charity functions and organizations. He served eight years in the Louisiana House of Representatives representing the Greater Slidell area and is currently serving as the Senator for District 1 covering east St. Tammany Parish, a part of Orleans Parish, most of Plaquemines Parish and all of St. Bernard Parish. He has served as a member of the Education, Commerce, Labor/Industry, Judicial, Retirement, Local and Municipal Affairs, Greater New Orleans Expressway and Science/Technology committees at the state level and has also served on the St. Tammany Parish School Board. He is a member of the Slidell and West St. Tammany Chambers, the current President of Reaching Very Special People, a board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and an ordained Deacon and member of First Baptist Church of Slidell. He is a member of the Louisiana Tea Party, Rotary Club, Lions Club, PRIDE of St. Tammany, Americans for Tax Reform, the Louisiana Wildlife Federation, National Rifle Association, and Ducks Unlimited.

Crowe has received numerous awards and recognition for his many hours of community service and legislative activities over the years. He has a degree in Business from Southeastern Louisiana University and is married to Linda McCoin and blessed two children and five grandchildren.
